Fidelizer will instantly turn your Windows Vista/7 computer to audiophile workstation for sophisticated audiophile player like J River, XXHighEnd, HQPlayer, foobar, etc. It involves no permanent modifications so system will remain safe and sound after restart so even system with normal Windows installation can experience better sound quality when needed. I'm still considering adding some useful permanent tweaks after this program is proven itself. Here're what Fidelizer can do:
-Stop unneccessary services leaving only audio related ones
-Keep services for network running
-Keep services for human interface and tablet/touch running
-Optimize system's tasks, I/O priorities, clock rate in MMCSS
-Optimize audio thread priority and system clock resolution
-Configure Fidelizer to run automatically on system startupAfter optimizing your system, most services related applications including network will stop running and some services may start again depending on running applications.
Please leave your feedback and suggestions for better and more flexible software in future.
You can download and test Fidelizer from http://www.windowsxlive.net/downloading-fidelizer Let me know if it helps anything in your system.
Changes in version 1.1
-Added autorun support (can be disabled by running program again without autorun)
-Added believable selectable features instead of advertising features comment
-Allowed user to keep specific services like networking and related interface controllers like HID and touch support
