Bit depth and sample rate question

I'm a bit off topic but I wanted to get advice from jRiver users.

I've been using MC12 for a few months and I like it.

Most of my files are 16/44 from CD. I do have some 24/96 WAV files as well. My Benchmark DAC1 USB will accept 24/96.

Is there any problem encountered if I set MC12 for 24/96 and just keep it there even for my 16/44 files?
