Hi John,
On your speculation on soft domes, Ragnar Lian wrote about that in AES preprint 1207. He first says (or maybe implies) that the cancellation frequency is a function of the height of the dome. Then he goes on to say that a "properly designed" soft dome can absorb high frequency energy as it travels through the diaphragm material from the voice coil to the dome center. Thus, it is effectively a ring radiator at high frequencies. Do you think it would be safe to assume that this is not the case for the TW025A12, as its sensitivity actually rises at the top end?John
