my opinions based on my hearing and my experience owning many tannoys. not sure what right you have to knock MY hearing, mate. in direct comparisons, with altec, jbl, tad it was clearly a compromised sound with limitations. its only virtue was that it was easy to place and they older ones were fairly friendly to amplifiers. some people love jazz ...others hate it. same goes for rap and a lot of things.
if you want to be helpful, why dont you answer the question of OP. --
