Hi Gluca,
I don't think you should cross the JBL 2482 higher than 5000 Hz. I got a pair sitting in the basement until I get a proper horn and I intent to use them from 400 - 2500 cycles. I got it from a electronics engineer that used to repair pro speakers that the phenolic JBL drivers are rough sounding if crossed too high. They are more durable and can go lower than aluminium 'phrams but are not high frequency drivers.
