I love illusion, especially if it is indistinguishable from magic---for example last night, having the Beatles open for Duke Ellington, with Rubinstein as the intermission piano player. I just think the word 'magic' should be retired by critics and marketers until they win that million bucks. (I am aware of Randi's run-in with MF, but I believe he is misinformed by AES types. Mikey certainly has never claimed any paranormal abilities.) Off topic: I enjoy 'In The Round' even though I never intend to add so much as a third channel. So John Marks better _hope_ that people like me are reading Stereophile for more than actionable purchasing information. Otherwise, your readership would dwindle precariously.
