You have got to be kidding...or maybe you just have not done any serious modding on things...."perfect amp"? Right!?! The first thing I do when I get a new component in is to take it apart and decide how I am going to mod it. The C in Commercial stands for Compromise. There are no audiophile/tweaker approved parts, no tweaking, way too long a signal path, no trick diodes, no trick wire, etc. in this and most amps.....there is just tons of things you can do to it to make it "different" sounding and to me way better. Every part, every solder joint, etc. is audible....believe it or not....he he. I have a Tripath eval module that I have done mods on and every tiny thing I do to it changes the sound noticeably, same with my amp using the Icepower modules....every tiny thing!!!! Us tweakers can find a way to make anything better (at least to our ears).......Having fun in tweakland...Ric
