i was blasted here before from others who told me passive pre's suck, but my ears tell me different. much different. the creek is an amazing deal and betters most active pre's that are 10x +++ more expensive. i use an expensive custom penny giles passive with cardas wire and delrim case and it is great. better than any active i have heard. i have not heard your passion, but i bet it is as good as you think. some people say passive's lack dynamics or bass, that is BS. only in the wrong set-up. overall better sound and much cheaper. anybody who doubts it should spring for a used creek for a $100.
