Well so they say, but according to the manual the input impedance is 0.1 Ohm !! You should wonder what genius came up with that idea. My knowledge tells me the passive preamp in combination with the acoustic reality, should be a bad marriage, but my ears tell me different. I that is why I'm wondering if my aleph is kicking the bucket. The other really strange thing about the acoustic reality poweramp is that is sounds awfull while driving balanced. This is the only and I state ONLY amplifier that I ever heard that sounded worse while driving balanced. You might wonder what they do with the balanced signal, before it is amplified?
