Thanks!-- I guess we wait for the reactions / adversities of copper-coated aluminum wire. I hope there's a better source for aluminum foil--I'm not inclined to cull foil from a lot of expensive foil caps. What's that stuff that's used for window security?Anyway, I've bought the wire from Magnepan. To me, uv isn't the primary concern, but rather oxidation as a consequence of exposure to the atmosphere--I prefer to treat the aluminum wire in order to provide a buffer to oxidation (I'm told I exhude a poisonous atmosphere...)
