i find many people to usually confuse "the generally considered
the best" with simply "the most expensive", but anyway don't
think there might be any significant diff between air core inductors
for the same quality copper & gauge; besides, the north creek fits
the space available, while the alpha core does NOT, so people using
them are FORCED to add external xovers, with the inevitable
wiring/connections degradations... (the funny thing being that then some of them
seem also to be FORCED to believe that external xovers are better)btw, did you try your auricaps already? what did you find?
