LOL, it was not you, then. See, the brain cell misfired :) There are very few of us who still own this 1990's model. The older version I have has 3 pairs of tweeter traces, taking less Mylar area. Because of this, the mid/bass area is larger. The original xover was different also, 1st/2nd order vs 1st/1st in the new 2000s models. My MMGs are now retired, wrapped in protective storage.
The reason I asked had to do with behaviors of the older MMG when I tried every type of Mylar-back configuration I could. It may not apply to the latter models.
