At first glance I thought I would be willing to try it. It seems to be the same type of glue. If it does not work, no harm done that can't be fixed.
Then I read again and saw that the damage is close to a tunning button. Hmmm, it is harder to fix if things go wrong THERE.
Fieldtrip to ACE, Home Depot, etc. is my vote. (Well, unless there is another less risky area on the Mylar to try it on first...and let us know how it goes. :)
