Exactly, sir, that is where I was headed. Because of crossover phase angle, they drivers are wired out of phase.
But, that is based perhaps on tweeter OUT. With tweeter IN, that driver is closer to you and may like the driver phase reversed? If the tweeter is 'ahead' of the mid with tweeter out, the leading edge may get to the listener in sync. With tweeter IN, reversing its leads may have the same effect.
PURE SPECULATION on my part.....
If I cross the jumpers, that'll do it, right?.....Careful! no shorts! I'd make up some banana ended jumpers using speaker wire.
