Cheap and easy is a good thing,I like the way you think ! I have to get around to the frame/stands . Promised the wife I would make these things look like our furniture, and I haven't done a wood project for quite a while. I love the woodworking class over here , the tools are awesome the instructor is good and you can pretty much do any projects you feel like. Should be fun to watch people try and figure out what I'm making. then watch then look even more confused when I tell them this flat looking frame with a big hole in it is a speaker.If I apply the Dynamat with care I should be able to change the panels over to the wood frames with almost all the mat left in place.
