I don't expect much (real) change on the charts either. There were hardly any between p-pframes and no-frames. Yet the difference was day and night; and along the lines of what you describe with the damping vs none.
I measured just to make sure that things are where they should for compararisons. A major change, for example, would be very suspicious (change in position after adding dampers, did I kick a cable off, did my wife move something?...etc). Measurements can be quite deceiving. I have almost perfect flat scans of some settings that sound horrible.
MultiMagxxx came as I was looking for short descriptors for the comments I add with each measurement. The first numeric position is for 22ga, the second for 26ga and the third 30ga. For example, the 2 lines of 26ga for the tweeter are MultiMag020. I have yet to test a MultiMag100 and a MultiMag110 (break-in time is a bitc..)
