He rubbed some the wrong way but was entertaining. Seems he left a long time ago but did he return under a different name?

  posted in early 2000s. Didn't get along with a lot of people and could be caustic but posted here in the Hi Rez Highway a lot.

      and there were areas where he was pretty caustic and made no friends but also in some areas seemed very knowledgeable. But time passes on, if there really is time at at and not just an illusion, which it may very well be. :^)

        The speakers are in the front room but because of the animals we take care of, I use headphones. So they are stowed away with all silver wiring, the finest tantalum (Japanese) resistors and Black Gate caps. Some day, maybe.

        Not much talk about the AES / Cary SixPac monoblocks these days but I was very impressed with mine. I consider them to be one of the audio bargains of our time. My stock pair outperformed and replaced my more prestigious and costly Conrad-Johnson Premier 11a.

        I didn't know if they stopped making them. Excellent performance. I wired mine triode and with my preamp that I built with a 27 tube (Sylvania mesh plate NOS 1932 for each channel with custom output transformers, the sound was totally life like in all respects.
