The speakers are in the front room but because of the animals we take care of, I use headphones. So they are stowed away with all silver wiring, the finest tantalum (Japanese) resistors and Black Gate caps. Some day, maybe.

  Not much talk about the AES / Cary SixPac monoblocks these days but I was very impressed with mine. I consider them to be one of the audio bargains of our time. My stock pair outperformed and replaced my more prestigious and costly Conrad-Johnson Premier 11a.

    I didn't know if they stopped making them. Excellent performance. I wired mine triode and with my preamp that I built with a 27 tube (Sylvania mesh plate NOS 1932 for each channel with custom output transformers, the sound was totally life like in all respects.
