These still get head time while T1's, HE500's and LCD-2's sulk.
I have had the Sennheiser 650's,700,800 and the Beyer T1 V1. They were all fine with the receivers I was using, then went to an Ember headphone amp and things started to sort themselves out. When I purchased a Feliks Audio Elise headphone tube amp, with 6 Philips El3n's, it all became much clearer. Have sold off the 650.700 and the Beyer T1 went back as it had the left driver problem. Kept the Senn 800, with this amp they are top notch. Clarity, and sound stage are the best I have heard, so far.
They are now going under $1k.
