Tireman2012,
Thanks again..., doing further research into said matters, it seems age has in fact caught up to me | as I missed the markings on both plugs | yet was able to at least wire the IEC Female end correctly, as losing my focus responding to my wife after having set the original gold plated brass off to the side | it seems I should've put on my glasses, which never seem to make it out of our bedroom | as it seems I'm in denial that my eyes aren't what they used to be.
With that being said..., it was a matter of remembering the black wire is called Live " L " or " Hot ", making it easier ( common sense really ) to than know the other two colors. And finding a photo of this brand of plugs was a blessing in itself.
Your willingness to assist will not go unnoticed | I'll set aside a seat for you in my centrally aired dedicated listening room in Heaven, let's say we meet up in another 3-4 decades from now ( yeah right ), but know it has to be Heaven | because I don't do heat, so that other place is out of the question.
'Til then.
In germany it s possible to turn the schuko plug into the outlet as you like, so is it not same thing with connecting live and neutral inthe plug?

Thanks strasserh3,I just tossed the plug all together, as it serves me not..., so it all worked out in the end | and the seller even offered to send me the correct one, of which makes perfect sense to me.

Tireman2012,
Thanks.., it certainly does.
I've spotted a tell tale sign moments ago, as it relates to the different screw colors, I'll get through this thanks to kind people like yourself.

Thanks A Bliss.
And finding them | as well as reading them seems essential.

I've been repairing cables (in the pro sound world) for a long time but only making home audio cables for 30 years. I've always used some kind of tester for AC-this is the current (no pun intended) setup I like. Inexpensive and easy to use.
I concur with the color of the wire to the color of the screw for an easy connection.

Thanks driver,
Much appreciated | I'll definitely look into getting one of these.
Have a great weekend young fella.
