I have had A C712 and MC7100 for several years now and enjoy them. They are well thought of units, and have that Mac classic look if that is your thing.

I have been thinking of making a change to some other stuff or Mac. But I may just try a second 7100 and run them mono.

One point my books shows 300 Watt @ 8 ohm mono. One thing the book also says is you should only use them mono, into an 8 om load.

yeah, correct on the 8 ohm load...you will enjoy them in mono for sure!!
