What I think about the alignment of many Japanese tonearm including SL-1200 is as follows.1. In the dimensional standards for Disk Records specified in JIS S8502-1973,
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yosh/jis_s8502.htm
*Minimum diameter of ending of Music Groove" is 106(mm)(17cm(EP))records.
*Maximum "Diameter: beginning of Groove" is 293(mm)(30cm(LP) )records.2. So let's input the following data into the spreadsheet.
Arm Effective length...230
Offset Angle...22
Arbitrary Groove Radius...146.5 and 53A calculation result is:
Inner Null Radius, N1 (mm)...58.801
Outer Null Radius N2 (mm)...113.518*I don't know whether the minimum diameter of ending of Music Groove is specified in IEC60098.

The diameter of finishing groove specified in IEC60098 is almost the same as JIS's.
