Hi Fred,
I have find just a few square from my home a welding workshop. They use some different techniques, but I have ask they to heat the 3 springs to red and just ask me to pay just $3 dollars. He use the most oxygen-acetylen welding, but I'm believe that is too much heat. I know that if we use just acetylen we can reduce 25% the heat.
So my question is, how much heat do we need to temper the springs without produce any damage or melt the springs steel?
Best regards,
Beto
