HO ZYX's output .48mv with a DCR of 8 ohms.
LO ZYX's output .24mv with a DCR of 4 ohms. The wire's the same, the magnets are the same, the cantilever, stylus, body, backplate and pins are the same. The only difference is that the HO has a coil that (in this case) is twice as long.
For practical purposes (ie, which cartridge should I buy) it's not important to know the specs on internal moving mass. It's enough to know that lower = better, provided your amplification and equalization stage can handle the lower voltage and impedance.

- Based on your specs, the HO ZYX is not really a high-output moving coil. It is a low-output moving coil. (nt) - John Elison 05:58:55 07/20/06 (0)
