I have an L&R ultrasonic cleaner that I acquired for use as a cleaner for precision target pistols. It is the same model that many dentists use to clean their instruments. After buying a less than pristine LP on eBay that was advertised as Mint, I decided to give it a try. It removed pops and clicks that my VPI left. The particular cleaner that I have isn't wide enough, so I have to flex the record a bit, then rotate it. 180-gram albums are out, but the regular ones it can handle. One thing that I noticed is the sensors will lock if too much surfactant is used. The only reason that I used any is because of the extreme filth on that particular used album. I'd never let mine get dirty enough to need detergent. Besides, I had nothing to lose.
