Vinyl Asylum Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ. |
|
I just bought an AR-XA turntable. It comes with a Pickering V-15/AME-3 cartridge. I would like to get some new cartridges for the table, so I am asking what you would recommend? The sale included a new, unused headshell and I have a few mono LPs. I'm wondering if there would be any advantage to purchasing a mono cartridge, and, again, recommendations?
I bought this turntable in large measure because it is a classic audio component, and I wanted it for my collection of vintage gear as much as to use it for listening from time to time. I have other turntables for critical listening.
Many thanks,
George
