RE: SHAKTI magic

Hey Jag!

I'm the guy on the Shakti website (see the "shakti-innovations.com" website Photo Gallery, near the end) who Mr Piazza said needed psychiatric assistance due to my Shakti 'habit'. Yeah, I blew some serious dough on Shakti, no doubt about it, and maybe I do own more than just about anyone on the planet currently. But these little guys work wonders when placed in the right spots, and the knowledgeable gentlemen who have previously posted to this string are dead on with their comments on proper placement and the physics behind the product. I can help you further on the matter of placement, if you need. Or you can look at the numerous photos of my system in the Shakti photo gallery to get some ideas. Gauss meters can help you out, because Shakti goes where unwanted fields of EMI lurk. Orientation of the Stones and On-Lines is also critical, believe it or not. But they really DO work! The better your system, the more the effect will be heard.

These little suckers are not cheap, either Stones or On-Lines, and can be simply prohibitively expensive if buying many for a larger system. I have a few extras laying around, but I've never thought of selling them due to their potential future utility in multiple applications, as well as other concerns noted below. If you decide you want some of either, let me know and maybe I could help. I may be downsizing my system soon and that will free up some Stones and On-Lines, which would likely go to audiophile friends at ridiculous prices. You seem like you're quite intersted in Shakti and didn't immediately poo-poo the idea as 'voodoo'. It seems unfair that price should be an impediment to someone who really wants what Shakti can do. But I don't want to list them for sale, as they will very likely go to 'dealers' who will then just jack up the price to someone else.

Regardless, do have fun with Shakti, as it will take your system to whole new level. It certainly did for me!

Happy Listening and Happy Holidays!
