Nah! - Frank would only be pissed, if I started screwing around with his gear. :-). Actually, Frank recommended a soldering station for me. Did you know that Frank still offers Dynaco kits?His amp is still in my main listening room. His amp is much more dynamic, has much more weight. But hey it should be - costs over 3 times as much as the little AE-25. I also recently compared the AVA Fet-Valve to the Air Tight ATM-2 (MSRP of $7500) - The AVA was the preferred amp!
BTW - I just ordered the new AVA OmegaStar DAC upgrade also.
