This is just the basic AE-25. Nothing has been improved upon yet. But, this will give me an excuse to fiddle with things, and preserve my main system. Actually this thing sounds so good, I can't believe it. I had a $7500 Air Tight ATM-2 in my home last week, and this thing sounds about 95% as good as the ATM-2!Today I ordered some Oil in paper caps. and some high class binding posts. Also a Plethera of tubes to roll, because AES told me that I could roll the same tubes as the Super Amp. This will keep me occupied. Now that I know this thing is worth it. I don't minding dumping some money into it.
I'm not sure exactly what the diff is between this and the super amp, I like to know myself. But if you contact AES, I'm sure that they will discuss it with you.
