Prior to looking at a tube amp to fix your system, consider evaluating a simple improvement in your current system. Your Nad C340 is severely constrained by those Pre-in pre-out links. Search in Cable Asylum under NAD and look for discussions on replacing those links. I don't know what interconnects you use, but your weakest link is your link.
Rather than parrot the "common wisdom" single ended will do this, push pull will do that... yada, yada, yada, and looking for the latest 'solution' to find musical satisfaction, make an effort and actually listen. Have you listened to the same circuts you opined on? If so, I apologize.
While I have listened to ss, pp, se, no global feedback, etc.. All I posted were links to data from those who actually heard the Edison in different configurations. Comments that do not reflect actual first hand experience are just noise.
You can make major improvements in your present system at minimal effort. Why don't you try doing that before offering advise on which you don't have a clue.
