Of course, I have compared the two before I wrote my statement.
No point in arguing about which of the two sounds best when it's just personal taste that we compare. Anyway, the fact that NOS 6P3S-e's from
70's and 80's are hard to come by today, is also not a valid argument for them to sound worse than 6L6WXT's. . . that you do not claim anyway. :)
