I have many different experiences with the JJ tubes. I experimented with the JJ KT 88's and was very disappointed. Not everyone uses the same equipment so results may vary. When I tried the JJ's my soundstage collapsed, the stereo separation narrowed, and the bass and midrange was totally gone. I did try to allow for tube break in, however, in my experience over the past years, a new tube will present to you its sonic character right after they are turned on the first time. I also tried another set to verify my results, the same. The EH's are way better, and the Svetlana Winged C are better yet. The JJ's would be the last tube I would ever use in my equipment.
