I just got some JJ EL84s for my Manley Stingray and I like them. They replaced the stock Russian EL84Ms that may have been getting tired.
I can't speak about the reliability though, because I just got them, and I got them from McShane so any duds have been dealt with by him.As far as 2A3s - The JJ 2A3-40 is the best new production I have found out of what I consider the reasonably priced offerings:
Sovtek 2A3 - < $100/pair
Shuguang 2A3C - ~ $100/pair
JJ 2A3-40 - ~ $220/pair
