Well I jumped in w/ both feet - stretched the credit and purchased the Big Blue-Metered Mac. Any input on tubes - stock ok? or should I start looking for NOS 6550's? Crazy I know - haven't even listened to it yet and looking to upgrade. I won't upgrade the tubes (if at all) until I listen to the stock for at least a month or two, but thought I'd throw out requests for the future. The MM phonostage won't work so already looking for phono amp. Had a marvelous Cary PH302 w/ NOS Mullard brown-base but thinking of going w/ something simple - Acoustech PH1p or ???
