No more than $3k is the budget. Restricted by 1) too many other hobbies/expenses/splurges and 2) threat of a divorce. However, it appears there's plenty of good amps w/in the price range. I think I've narrowed my choices to either Cary SLI80 (mod' by UpscaleAudio) or a Jolida 801 modified by ResourceAudio. Considering the range of my musical taste, I figure either of these amps should make a nice match w/ the Sonatina's.
