GT (Groove Tubes) doesn't manufacture tubes. They buy them from the usual suspects (there are only so many tube factories in the world) go through their own screening process and label them as their own. If you do buy GT tubes, don't buy the lower numbered tubes rated for distortion. That is for musical amplifiers (guitar, etc.). HiFi, you don't want distortion (example: 1-10, you want a ten for HiFi).
