I have a pair of vintage RCA amps, use 6L6GC. I have the RCA black plates, mongrels, and Sovtec 6L6WXT. The difference between the Sovtec and RCA is very very slight. Save your money and try the Sovtec which I see at Parts Express has been replaced by the WXT+, supposed to be a direct copy of the black plates. Oh, the mongrels, various Sylvania, Tungsol, don't come close.
