I live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, so I have easy access to Space-Tech. You might want to browse the website. Albert makes a variety of what I believe are vintage-style preamps. I'm not sure that he would provide schematics. The preamp that I use, the QA-115 REG, is way better than the Hovland HP100 that it replaced.
