Why do we always have to add "in my opinion and with my system".Mr. Vinyl
We have to add that because tubes sound different in different systems,
listening rooms etc. A tube that works well in YOUR X amp may NOT sound
good in my Y amp. That is the point. No flame intended. The circuit a tube is in will also shape the sound.
