Hi Willie,

Funny you should ask. I was just camparing JAN USA military NOS tubes last night. I tried both Silvania and Phillips (Both basically the same tube). I compared them with Sovtek. I can tell you this they were bright and edgy. So are the Sovteks. I thought in my system the Sovteks were slightly better. Now keep in mind that I just recieved the JAN USA military NOS tubes yesterday and they haven't broken in. So in either case I think they are very close. In my opinion I would go with the Sovtek. However there are much better (and much more expensive tubes) tubes to be had if you are willing to pay the price. I will let you know if the tubes break in and my mind changes.
