Hi Mr. Lammers,I'm not exactly sure what your point is. True I have a very revealing system. But we are not talking about a little more high end or a little more foward here. We are talking about a grainy distorted harsh sound. I found the JAN USA military NOS tubes to be all of the above. The guy asked an opinion. Obviously it's system dependent to some extent (I would think that he knows this). But I don't see how adding harsh to any system can make it sound better. I found the Sovteks to be bright but smoother in presentation. As I said above the JAN USA military NOS tubes I used weren't fully broken in yet. Maybe I will come away with a different opinion in a week or two. However everything cannot be lowered down to opinion or nobody would be able to state how anything sounds. Why do we always have to add "in my opinion and with my system".
