I started with a Panasonic compact system in 11th grade. Sold the compact but kept the speakers and purchased a Sansui receiver and a BSR turntable. Later on, ditched the Panasonic speakers and bought Rectilinear bookshelves speakers. That was a revelation. Eventually moved on to the Rectilinear iii speakers and was in audio Heaven. Stupidly sold them for the Rectilinear 7 speakers and stopped listening to the system. Sold them and was on the Audio merrry go round for the next 40 years. Finally have my 2 keeper systems at 65 years old.
