Exactly. Too many people dwell on "great musicianship" but I gotta say those CCR records sound mighty good, and a good chunck of folks agree who bought them. I coud list a slew of
"allright" players who made (and make) great records and as many great players who made drudge ( about 3/4 of George Benson's for example).
They were fine for what they were doing and what they were doing sounded great. I'll add that the same goes for The Beatles and The Stones and....
