Fogerty new stuff sounds like sissy music. No substance.Even his voice sounds less mature than it did in Creedence.
I think when they were a band that they all added their chops to make the CCR Sound. Doug Clifford is an excellent drummer, perfect for Fogerty's songs. That what made them great as CCR.
John Fogery was a highly talanted song writer, but those days seem gone.
John Fogerty cannot get in the creative world without his bandmates adding or subtracting what Fogerty has in his head.
Thats what bandmates of equal do for the creation process. Look at the Beatles, The Stones , the whole is better than the individual parts.
