some jackass that you base this on? "Untalented sidemen"? You have ears on either side of that brain? They were a BAND for several years before CCR, and the fact they had a particularly gifted singer/songwriter in Fogarty that elevated them to greatness does not detract from that. Those original songs performed by anyone else would NOT be/sound the same with other musicians. Fogarty was brilliant, the others VERY talented. Listen to Fogarty's continually dissappointing LPs over the past 35 years for proof.
