Good thought.Years ago we had world class artists playing locally. Now we rarely see them because of the high cost. Sadly, I must agree with David. If concert performances have priced themselves out of the reach of people or are not considered attractive enough (your point) then natural selection presides.
However I do not sharer David's irritation about rehashing past topics. This assumes the posters here are static, there are no newbies and suggests we should not discuss the same thing twice - an unrealistic idea and one that we do not practice in everyday life anyway. These new posters can often add new a slant to an old warhorse and inspire new ideas.
