San Francisco has only KDFC for classical music. They play a kind of 'hit parade' of classics, sandwiched in between strings of aggressive commercial ads. They just announced moments ago that Beethoven polled as the listeners' favorite composer, oh revelation. KXPR in Sacramento is non-commercial and of better quality, but reception of it is poor in the Bay Area.I've browsed a few dozen internet radio stations using Real Audio software. Listening can be good if you have DSL/Cable bandwidth or better. And the station you 'dial' into has to be broadcasting at high bit rates. Worth checking out if you haven't done so already.
