Come to think of it, a couple more of my faves in the Chopin Etude department are in-concert and (presumably) unedited: Egorov in Op. 10 and Sokolov in Op. 25. So maybe Lisitsa has a point! To answer your question though, Lisitsa does have her moments in these works, but I'd prefer the others I mentioned overall. Lisitsa's recording is certainly worth hearing for some of the performances however.
