Watched a Carmen last week, the DVD of a 1984 French Italian production with Placido Domingo, Julia Migenis Johnson and others. Pathetic I thought it was except the music. I moved to the next room and listened while the wife watched. Most unattractive Carmen too.

Is there a good Carmen movie?
