I have recently begun to listen to jazz after 20 years with pop and rock. I have followed the easy road an bougth some of the best reviewed CDs like

Miles Davis Kind a blue (good but not outstanding in sound or tunes)'
Sonny Rollins Way out west (very good early stereo sound and easy listning)
Jazz at the pawnshop (the best both sonically and musically)
Patrica Barber Cafe Blue ( a bit disappointing after all the rave reveiws the songs are boring and the sound is artificial "good" in a strange way)
Arne Domnerus Amphion blues (reference recording in Canadian UHF mag and very beautiful music with the strange combination of SAXOPHONE AND ORGAN)

i am intrested in more recomendations for good jazz recordings
